Terms and conditions

By completing the registration, I confirm that I have read, understood and agree to the following terms and conditions.

• Registration details and communication. I must select my event category carefully at the time of registration. Once confirmed, registrations are non-refundable. I agree to give a valid email address and mobile number that I use, which are the main way the organisers contact me about the event. Registrations cannot be transferred.
• Event communications. I agree to receive event information, updates and notifications by SMS, email, WhatsApp or other registered channels.
• Promotional communications. I agree that the event organisers and their partners and sponsors may send me promotional communications about services, products, offers and future events by email, WhatsApp, SMS or other channels.
• Photography and media. I allow the event organisers, sponsors and their authorised representatives to photograph, record or otherwise capture my participation, and to use those photographs, videos and recordings for event documentation, publicity, advertising, promotion and sponsor communications.
• Information sharing and verification. I allow the event organisers to make the references, enquiries and checks they reasonably need for my registration, and to share the information I give where reasonably necessary to organise, administer, promote, keep safe or run the event.
• Email delivery. If my email service filters or blocks messages from unknown senders, I add the event's email address to my safe senders or address book so that event messages reach me.
• Event updates. Updates sent to the mobile number and email address I gave are authorised event communications and not spam. I will not take action against the event organisers, sponsors or their SMS and email providers over them.
• Validity of notices. Any notice sent to my registered email address or mobile number counts as delivered to me.
• Accuracy of information. I give only accurate and necessary information in the registration form, without duplicate or repeated entries.
• Medical fitness and participation. Walking, running, long-distance running and the other physical activities of the event carry risks and may lead to injury, illness or, in extreme cases, death. I am responsible for deciding whether I am fit to take part, and the event organisers, sponsors, partners, representatives and associated entities are not responsible for injury, illness, death, or loss of or damage to personal property arising from my participation, except as required by applicable law.
• Medical consultation. I should consult a qualified medical practitioner, and have a medical examination where needed, to decide whether I am fit to take part.
• Assumption of risk. I take on all the risks of taking part, including falls, collisions or contact with other participants, road and course conditions, traffic, weather such as heat or humidity, dehydration, medical emergencies and the other risks of a public sporting event.
• Health, safety and event risks. Pinkathon, its sponsors, partners, organisers, representatives and associated entities are not responsible for any loss, damage, illness, injury or other consequence of my participation, except as required by applicable law.
• Following instructions. I follow all instructions, rules, safety guidelines and directions of the event organisers, the race director, the medical team, security staff, volunteers and other authorised event staff.
• Stopping participation. I stop at once if the race director, the medical team, aid-station volunteers or other authorised event staff tell me to for health or safety reasons.
• Name and media use. I agree to the use of my name, photographs, videos and other recordings of my participation to document, publicise, promote and advertise the event.
• Use of personal information. I agree that my personal information may be collected, stored, processed and used by Pinkathon, its title sponsor, sponsors, partners, service providers and other authorised entities to organise, administer, communicate, promote, keep safe and manage the event, and for legitimate statistical and analytical purposes, subject to applicable law.
• Cancellation, postponement and force majeure. If bad weather, natural disasters, major incidents, security threats, government or authority restrictions, force majeure or other circumstances beyond the organisers' reasonable control arise, the organisers may cancel, postpone, reschedule, change or stop the event. Confirmed registrations stay non-refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise. The organisers may reject an application; the amount paid for a rejected application may be refunded, less bank and payment charges.
• No cancellation or refund. Requests to cancel or refund are not accepted after the registration is confirmed, except where applicable law requires it or the organisers expressly allow it.
• Unforeseen circumstances. If unforeseen circumstances, incidents, restrictions, force majeure or other events beyond the organisers' reasonable control lead to the event being cancelled or postponed, the registration fee is not refunded, except where applicable law requires it.
• Not taking part on race day. If I cannot attend or take part on race day for any reason, my registration is not refunded or transferred.
• Registration of minors. A girl under 12 on race day runs only with her female guardian (18 or older), registered in the same order and the same category. If I register her, I confirm that I am her parent or legal guardian, that I consent to her taking part, and that these terms apply to her as far as they can.
• Bib collection. I collect my running bib in person, unless the organisers allow collection on my behalf. Someone else may collect it only with my written authorisation and the organisers' checks.
• Course cut-off time. I finish within the course cut-off time. For health and safety, participants are not allowed on the course after it.
• Cooperation. I cooperate fully with the event organisers, volunteers, medical teams, security staff and other authorised representatives, so that the event runs safely and smoothly.

Participant declaration. By submitting this registration I confirm that the information I have given is accurate and that I have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions, including those on registration, communication, media use, personal information, medical fitness, assumption of risk, cancellation, refunds and event safety.
